Ashiko Ashikos are West African Style drums, with long straight sides. It is a truncated cone shaped drum played with bare hands. Ashiko offers a continuum of tones depending on distance from the center where the drum is struck. Ashikos with drumheads that have natural hair on the drum rim produce more muted sounds when compared to Ashikos with shaved drum heads.

Bongo Bongo Drums are made of two small drums attached to each other - a larger drum called hembra (female) and a smaller drum called macho (male). Bongos originated in Africa, but are now used in South America, Cuba and the middle-east. Djembe A djembe (pronounced Zhem-Bay) is a goblet-shaped drum played with bare hands. It is a membranophone musical instrument made of a shell and a membrane or drumhead. While it is popular all world round, Djembe originated in & still is a part of West Africa. Djembes produce a wide range of tones depending on the shape of the goblet, density of wood, internal carvings and drumhead used in its construction.
